Private room and bathroom in a large, bright, 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo in the beautiful Parkallen community of Edmonton. My condo is located across from a park (which is adjacent to a community centre) for recreation right outside the door! There is a bus stop a couple of blocks away, and the South Campus train station is a 10-minute walk west. The bike path to the UofA campus goes down 112st which is a very safe and beautiful bike ride (about 10-minutes to main campus), or a 20 to 30-minute walk. Overall a very central location with grocery stores within walking distance as well. In fact, Old Strathcona is a 30-minute walk north-east, Southgate Centre a 30-minute walk south, and I regularly run from my home along the river pathways to the west. One does not need a car to live comfortably in the beautiful Parkallen community. For those who have a car, there is street parking available on the street in front of the condo building (no fee, always space available to park). The bedroom for rent is furnished with a queen bed, desk, desk chair, lamp, dresser, and has a large closet with built-in shelves. The room has a very large window so it is bright and spacious. (The bedroom is 4.1x3.1 meters in size, it is quite large!) The private bathroom is just outside the bedroom and it is a full bathroom (i.e., bathtub with shower, toilet and sink). The shared living room/ kitchen area is also furnished (i.e., couch, table, kitchen supplies), and there is in-suite laundry. There is a large balcony off of the open living area as well. My condo building is a pet-free, smoke-free building. It is concrete construction, and therefore it is very quiet and safe. I am a fourth year medical student, which means I spend the majority of my time in clinics and hospitals working very long days. When I'm not busy working or studying for exams, I'm out adventuring, enjoying the great outdoors. I am a very health focused person, which means I prioritize exercise, nutrition and sleep hygiene within my busy schedule. I work hard play hard. I am a clean, kind, respectful person, and am open to sharing my home with other people who are also clean, kind and respectful. Rent is $1000/month inclusive of utilities (i.e., power, water, heat, internet).
