Accessibility Info: The front entrance has several steps from street level to access the lobby, mail, and elevator bank. The side door of the building is level with the sidewalk and has secured elevator access to the apartment tower.

Fire alarms are routinely checked, alarms are auditory only. The fire exit stairwell is close by.

Scent reduced space; light fragrances from soaps, minimum scents in laundry detergent, no incense or candles due to lease agreement. Smells from cooking are welcome, I cook and bake regularly.

All smoking and vaping must be done outside of the building.

I am a full-time nurse who works 12-hour shifts, 50% of those shifts are night shifts. The apartment will generally be a calm environment, not a party thrower but will notify you of visitors or events in advance.

SAFETY: This apartment is a safe and welcoming space for those who are a part of the queer community. I am mindful of who will be brought into the house, having open conversations, and making it a priority to maintain this safety.

ABOUT THE SPACE: The room is unfurnished. It has a closet and east-facing windows. You are also welcome to make yourself at home in the communal spaces (Kitchen/Living) and have access to the shared hall closets for additional storage space. The bathroom is located down the hall from the offered room. Since this is a full two-bathroom apartment, this bathroom will be for your exclusive use. The bedroom shares opposite walls with the living room and the other bedroom's closet respectively. The room is 9 foot 4” W by 10 foot 7” L. The closet is 59” L by 24” W, and when one sliding closet door is open, that doorway is 30” wide. The outer wall containing windows is 10 foot 7” wide by 6 feet tall. There is a small ledge that runs the length of the wall under these windows.

APPLIANCES: There is a full-sized fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave.

LAUNDRY: Laundry is on each floor of the building and is card-operated.

ABOUT ME: I am a young nurse starting work at a hospital nearby and moving to Toronto. My hobbies include reading, crafting, and baking. I enjoy quiet nights playing board games or watching movies. When planning any small gatherings I will check in to consider your schedule and preferences.

I would like to find someone in healthcare who understands shiftwork and needs a quiet homey place to live and enjoy the conveniences of living in downtown Toronto. This apartment is new to me and I will be moving in when the lease begins in January. As I currently do not live there, unfortunately, I cannot show you the space in person.
