This is my beloved home.  The whole house - 2 bedrooms - is available April 1, 2024 until April 18, 2024 and then one bedroom will be available May 1, 2024 onwards until October 1, 2024 when the whole house will once again be available. The price obviously is less for the room, which we can discuss if you're interested.

It's a funky, comfortable 2-bedroom house located in downtown Hamilton. St. Joseph's Hospital is a 5-minute walk away and the bus to McMaster stops just around the corner.

Hi-speed wifi included. Hamilton GO Centre with trains and buses to Toronto and other destinations is a 3-minute walk. You'll enjoy floor to ceiling bookshelves, lots of original art, a TV in each bedroom and one in the living room, barn board floors, carpets upstairs, a large living room with 2 sitting areas and a dining table. The bathroom is large and fitted with a bidet.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven and stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, blender, coffee maker, kettle and staple foodstuffs. There is a free parking spot for one car, and plenty of free street parking nearby. It's quiet, as one next door neighbour is currently unoccupied and the other is a hair salon. Grocery stores are between a 10- and 15-minute walk, including Nations International Grocery Store and Hamilton Farmers' Market, located in Jackson Square Mall, and a convenience store right across the street.

The Art Gallery of Hamilton and Hamilton Public Library are within a 10-minute walk. Check out the iconic James St. North arts district, with restaurants and bars, art galleries and shops galore and only a 10-minute walk away. You'll not want to miss the monthly Art Crawl, which happens the 2nd Friday of the month, where galleries, shops, bars and restaurants throw open their doors to art and music until late. Hamilton Rail Trail is a 3-minute walk away, and the Bruce Trail just a little farther. F

irst Ontario Centre and First Ontario Concert Hall are both within walking distance, as are the YMCA and other gyms. And, as you can imagine, yoga studios abound!
