Furnished, spacious room in a lovely home for medical professionals looking for a home away from home.  Centrally located in the neighbourhood of Little Mountain-Riley Park, in the heart of Vancouver.

Fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, a dresser, a desk and all bedding and linens included. The kitchen has all appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. The dining and living rooms are bright and have a view of a lovely garden.  All utilities are included in the rent. You will share the home with me, with full use of the kitchen, living and dining room and garden. 

My home is near Quebec Street and King Edward Avenue, a quiet residential street in Little Mountain-Riley Park, a friendly, walkable and safe neighbourhood in the centre of Vancouver, with easy access to public transit and a bike route connecting to hospitals, downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, beaches, Pacific Spirit Park and the University of British Columbia. 

From my home, it is a few minutes walk to the #25, #33 and #3 bus stops, with convenient rapid transit connections from King Edward Canada Line and Main Street Skytrain stations. 

BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital are close by and a lovely walk through Queen Elizabeth Park or a short bus trip. Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer Agency are also an easy commute with rapid transit. St. Paul's Hospital is 4.2 km away and is convenient to get to by transit.

My home is a couple of blocks from Main Street where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, banks and bookstores. Hillcrest Community and Fitness Center, Nat Bailey Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Park and an all-year farmers market.

I have lived in Little Mountain - Riley Park for over 25 years and love my neighbourhood's community spirit, diversity and vibrancy. I teach English to newcomers to Canada at a nearby community organization.
