About a 25 minute drive to Huntsville Hospital. A 1200 Sq Ft, bright and open concept space located in the lower level of our home where we live year round. Large windows and 9 ft ceilings. Separate walkout and private entrance onto small deck and lawn. There is a private lake that does not have a public boat launch. Guests are welcome to use our family dock located down a gentle sloping trail (approx. 400 m ) Property is situated on 80 acres, surrounded by crown land with trails and ample opportunities for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, atving etc. MUST LOVE DOGS. We like it to be clear and understood upon booking our space that we have two very energetic dogs. They are very friendly but still have a tendency to jump as the one pup is still young and learning. Our boy, Finn is a golden retriever and our girl, Raven is a golden mix. We also have two lovely indoor cats that will not have access to guests inside. NOTE: We do live upstairs and try our best to be quiet but guest will be able to hear us and the dogs from time to time. Guests are welcome to wander the property and use the trails. We encourage using caution during the winter months around the lake. Guests are also welcome to use the small fire pit and provide own firewood.

NOTE: The kitchenette has basic cooking utensils, an apartment size oven with four electric burners, a kettle, a coffee maker, an apartment size fridge. Guests have access to a BBQ during the summer/fall months.

NOTE- we plan to eventually have a washer and dryer installed but for now there is a laundry mat approx. 5 min drive into the town kearney.
