Welcome to MedsHousing.com (the “Site”). The Site is provided as a service to our customers. Please review the following terms and conditions of use, which govern your use of the Site (the “Agreement”).
The Agreement is between you, the user, and MedsHousing Inc., the owner of the Site (“MedsHousing.com”, “we” or “us”).
Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to comply with and be bound by the Agreement. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. You are encouraged to periodically review the Terms of Use page of the Site. For the most current version of the Terms of Use, please click the “Terms of Use” link located in the footer section of the Site. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the Site.
Terms and Conditions
By using the Site, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions set out on this page of the Site. The right to use the Site is personal to you and is non-transferable. You are responsible for your own account(s) and listing(s) made on the Site (including safeguarding your username and password) and for ensuring that your account fully complies with the provisions of this Agreement.
MedsHousing.com is solely a listing service for property owners with available rental properties, and tenants seeking a place to live during their medical training. The Site provides a means for property owners to advertise their property for rent to the medical community. The Site is NOT a property management or a real-estate brokerage service.
When listing a property, you agree to adhere to the highest standards concerning your listing and your property. We encourage landlords to respond to inquiries with diligence. You agree that your listing(s) truthfully represent your property for rent. You are solely responsible for all aspects of the listing and property as described in your listing(s), including, but not limited to, payment processing, fulfillment, delivery of keys and other materials, customer service, invoicing and collection.
As a landlord listing a property, you are solely responsible for checking the local laws and regulations governing the rental of your property, including zoning requirements, and ensuring compliance with the same.
Every listing on the Site is for one housing unit only. Landlords may not list multiple units in a single listing, or “bait & switch” by offering a unit other than the one being advertised in a listing. We do offer special pricing for landlords with multiple units. Please contact us at
for more information.The cost of a listing is payable in full, in advance, according to the pricing indicated on the Site. Payment is non-refundable.
MedsHousing.com aims to create a community of users focused on housing for the medical academic community. If a listing generates interest, you will be contacted through the Site messaging function. Listings may not contain email addresses, phone numbers, links to other websites, or any other personal or business identifiers.
Any arrangements between landlords and tenants as a result of listings on the Site are made independently of MedsHousing.com. We shall in no way be responsible for any claims, disagreements or misunderstandings that may occur between property owners and their tenants, or between tenants, or if any party defaults or disagrees with any other party.
MedsHousing.com periodically monitors all messages and communications sent through the MedsHousing.com platform for audit purposes and to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Please note that messages sent through our platform are for the convenience of our users, and must comply with this Agreement. MedsHousing.com is not a messaging system; while we do not receive your email replies, we retain copies of messages sent through our platform.
You may choose to withdraw your listing(s) at any time. It is your responsibility to periodically review your listing(s). As noted above, listings are payable in advance and are non-refundable.
You warrant and represent that you are the owner, or licensee, of all information and content contained in your listing(s) and messages using the MedsHousing.com platform, including but not limited to text, photographs, trademarks and any other material provided (the “Data”), and that you have the right to grant to MedsHousing.com the licence that follows. You grant MedsHousing.com, in connection with the Site and any promotional and advertising materials related thereto, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right and licence to use, reproduce, publicly display and communicate the Data and, except with respect to trademarks, to modify and create derivative works of such Data. You agree to forever hold MedsHousing.com harmless with respect to any liabilities, claims, damages, costs or fees related to any breach of this section.
MedsHousing.com may redesign or alter the layout and appearance of any listing. The Site reserves the right to publish any and all feedback and other online reviews of the listing.
Upon written notification from you, reasonable efforts will be made to correct listing information not otherwise accessible to you. MedsHousing.com reserves the right to terminate listings. Properties may not be substituted without prior approval.
MedsHousing.com retains all rights, title and interest in all MedsHousing.com proprietary information embodied in the Site, including text, images, photographs, links, code and trademarks, and no licence therein is granted to you by MedsHousing.com nor is in any way implied by this Agreement. MedsHousing.com will not be liable for any inaccuracies in the Data or information included in any listings on the Site, nor will it have any liability under any circumstances for any consequential or punitive damages.
All information contained in listings is created by users. MedsHousing.com does not verify the accuracy of any information provided by users in their listings, and MedsHousing.com does not assume any responsibility or liability for any inaccuracies or errors contained in any listings on the Site.
If a user is found to have abused the trust of other site users, including but not limited to harassment, fraud, or threats, MedsHousing.com reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate any account(s) and/or listing(s), without refund.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the personal information necessary for the operation of the Site and for payment. This includes your name, email address, telephone number and street address. We make every effort to protect the privacy and security of your personal information. We will not sell, licence or provide your personal information to any third party unless specifically authorised by you or unless compelled by any governmental authority.

In no event shall MedsHousing.com be liable to you for any direct, special, consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including lost profits, however caused, on any theory of liability, including, but not limited, to product liability. In any event, MedsHousing.com's liability to you shall not exceed the total amount that you have paid to MedsHousing.com in the six months preceding the claim event.
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold MedsHousing.com and its officers, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your access to or use of the Site and its services or your violation of these terms; (b) your content; (c) your (i) interaction with any other users of this site, (ii) renting / subletting of a property listed on this site, (iii) creation of a listing or (iv) the use, condition or rental of a property listed on the Site by you, including, but not limited to any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of a rental or use of a listed property.
Always Use Common Sense
Landlords: Many cities have enacted strict bylaws governing short-term housing. If you are listing a home for rental, it is essential to familiarize yourself with all applicable laws and regulations: zoning, homeowners' association rules, business permitting, safety & health code requirements, and taxes. You are responsible for recording income and reporting all applicable taxes.
Landlords should ideally obtain references and check the creditworthiness of prospective tenants. A signed lease is always advisable. Landlords should check their insurance policy to make sure that rental of the property is authorised under the policy.
Tenants: Before renting a property do your homework and verify the existence and probity of the landlord. Never send money until you have established the identity of the landlord and of the property you are wanting to rent.
