Feel at home for your stay in our furnished, clean and welcoming above-ground basement. Your space has a private entrance, flexible space that can give you two bedrooms if desired (or one bedroom and a dining or work space), a living area, a private bathroom with shower, and a small kitchen area.

This space is a good fit for guests who are here for a month or two and don’t mind the quirks of an older house, and the sounds of an active family above you. (It’s not suitable for longer term as there is no closet space and no proper kitchen – it’s got a simple hotplate, toaster oven, microwave and a bar-sized fridge.) . We offer a queen bed as well as a convertible sofabed, with options for how to set up the space for it to work for you. You have shared access to our laundry. There is an alarm that covers the lower floor which is your space as well as shared laundry and storage.

Our neighbourhood is a pleasant place to stay, with easy on-street parking. Our street is known for the fabulous Marche St George and you are just 2 minutes’ walk from the shops and restaurants of Main Street – groceries, yoga, gourmet ice cream, restaurants and bars – it’s all nearby. Two of Vancouver’s main bus routes have stops within 5 minutes walk. (It’s got a “walkability score” of 91, which walkscore.com calls “A Walker’s Paradise”.)
