Hello! We have a bedroom opening in our very large, renovated five-bedroom Coolidge Corner apartment and are looking for a new roommate to join us from October 1, 2020 (possibly flexible) until our lease is up on June 30, 2021 (with opportunity to extend). The apartment is on the third floor of a 3-story building – nice and quiet! We have the entire floor to ourselves. We are open to living with mid/late-twenties to early/mid-thirties persons who are respectful, clean and drama-free.

This is the perfect place for working professionals, those working at Longwood Med, or BU/Harvard Med or Dental graduate students.

We’re quite close to Longwood for those in healthcare (.6 mi walk).

The apartment is exceptionally well-maintained and gorgeous with granite countertops, hardwood floors, stainless appliances, a working fireplace, dishwasher, garbage disposal, in-unit washer and dryer, central air and heat. The kitchen is large and lovely to cook in. The available bedrooms are quite large and share a hallway bathroom. Our new roommate would need to maintain a clean kitchen and common area and clean up after themselves. These points are non-negotiable.

We are a block away from Trader Joe’s and close to the many shops & restaurants in Coolidge Corner, Brookline. A 4-minute walk to St. Paul Street T (C Line) and an 8-minute walk to Longwood T (D Line) on MBTA Green Line. Only a 5-minute walk to 66 bus route. The post office, bank, a great gym overlooking Beacon street, and any necessary shops etc, are 3-4ish minutes away.

No Fee – $960/month (cable/internet, utilities add another ~$40-100/month depending on AC). We would need the first month’s rent and last month’s rent as a security deposit to hold your space and add your name to the lease. There are no realtor or other fees. No pets and no smoking, please. Apt. is furnished and the bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. We can open the home to you in Oct or Nov.

About us: Four working professional women (in typical time) working all over the Boston area. Like many, we are currently working from home. Respectful and on our own busy schedules most of the time but friendly and caring of others – especially with recent circumstances. We are open to all people. Mostly quiet here during the week, at night, and on weekends. Our hopes for finding the right roommate would be a good person, paying the rent on time, and maintaining a clean apt- all in order to keep the place relaxed and stress-free!

The room is available on October 1st. The bedroom is large with hardwood floors, multiple windows, and comes with two closets (one in bedroom and an extra full closet in the hallway). We have ample storage space in our building as well as our own designated full room unit in the basement. The apartment is truly wonderful and has been passed down from a group of friends for about 10 years. We have a good relationship with our landlord and pay less than the two similar units below us. We are looking to find the right person for this room and can finish this process soon if we feel we have the right fit for all involved. If interested, please email to tell us more about yourself! We can show the apartment through pictures and/or facetime/skype/zoom to start. We feel very fortunate to call this place our home and we hope you will too!

Thanks!
